Who We Are. S.T.E.P.S. Motor City Challenge is one of the largest and most experienced providers of Adventure Education Programs in Michigan. From our beginnings in 1991 we have grown to serve an average of 16,000 participants annually at sites throughout Metro Detroit and the Thumb.
What We Do. We provide programs tailored to the needs of schools, youth groups, social service agencies, businesses, and corporate trainers. Available year round, our facilities include both outdoor and indoor challenge courses with a range of options centered on the following activities:
Group Initiatives and Low Ropes
High Ropes Challenge Courses
Climbing Programs
Zip Lines and Canopy Tours
Many of these challenge course activities may also be set up and run at the client’s own site.
In addition to direct programming, S.T.E.P.S. Motor City also provides training and curriculum development for teachers and other professionals, enabling them to transfer the benefits of Adventure Education back into the classroom or the workplace.
